Request deletion in the app

You can request deletion through the account settings in the AlgoSwish mobile app or web app. Open Profile, choose Settings, and select Delete Account.

Request deletion without signing in

If you cannot access your account, use our secure support form or email dusan@algoswish.com with the subject line Account Deletion Request.

Include the email address connected to your account and confirmation that you want the account deleted.

What happens next

For an authenticated in-app request, AlgoSwish requests deletion of identified PostHog analytics events and session recordings associated with your verified Firebase user identifier, deletes your synchronized application data from PostgreSQL, and then deletes your Firebase account. PostHog event deletion may be processed asynchronously. Email requests are completed after any necessary identity verification.

We will delete or de-identify account information unless we need to retain limited information for legal or legitimate purposes, including complying with legal obligations, resolving disputes, enforcing agreements, preventing fraud or abuse, maintaining security, and retaining billing, tax, or transaction records. Deleted information may remain temporarily in restricted backups until those backups expire or are overwritten.

Saved Bet Tracking entries

Deleting your account removes the bets and parlays you intentionally saved in Bet Tracking, including their legs, stakes or units, odds, results, settlement information, notes, related display preferences, deleted-record identifiers, and migration receipts associated with your authenticated account.

Locally stored and anonymous data

Guest entries, unsynchronized entries, cached copies on another device, or other information that was never associated with the account may remain in local device storage. You may need to clear application or browser storage, sign out on another device, or uninstall the app to remove that separate local information. Anonymous analytics that cannot reasonably be connected to the authenticated account is handled under the retention practices described in the Privacy Policy.

Verification

To protect your account, we may ask you to verify your identity or ownership of the email address before completing a deletion request.
